The steps below will take you through assigning a static IP to a Virtual Canary.

Step 1: Boot Virtual Canary
Boot your Virtual Canary.
Step 2: Enter username
Insert the username "canary" and hit Enter.
Step 3: Enter Password
Type out the password found on your Canary Console and hit Enter.
Step 4: Open Network Configuration
Scroll down to Network Configuration and hit Enter.
Step 5: Add Static IP Address
Insert your Static IP address and Tab to Enable Static IP and hit Enter.
Step 6: Finish and reboot Virtual Canary
The Static IP will now be enabled. Simply hit Enter, and your Virtual Canary will reboot with your new network configuration.
