Why are my birds not reporting port scans?

Port scan detection isn't enabled by default, since it can be noisy on standard networks.

If you'd like to enable it, follow these steps:

Step 1: Log in to your Console

Step 2: Select a Canary

Select the Canary you want to configure with a static IP.

Step 3: Configure Canary

Click on the Configure Canary to configure this Canary.

Step 4: Go to Port Scan

Scroll to the Port Scan service and enable it.

Step 5: Deploy Configuration

Once you've enabled Port Scan, you will then need to click on Deploy new configuration.

Your Port Scan configuration change will be pushed down to your Canary. Once it gets to 100%, your Canary will then reboot and connect back to your Console with the new configuration.
