Description: Enabling notifications allows alerts to be sent directly to you from your Console as an alert is triggered. You can enable email and/or SMS notifications. You can add multiple email addresses and numbers to each field.
Note: Email addresses and contact numbers can be added to these fields even though the recipients may not have access to the Console. This gives you a way to send notifications to your team without giving them access to your Console.
Follow the steps below to enable email and/or SMS notifications:
Step 1:
Log in to your Console.
Step 2:
1 - Click on the Gear Icon.
2 - Click on Global Settings.
Step 3:
Enable email and/or SMS notifications.
Operational Email Notifications : Folks added to this list will get an email anytime an operational alert is triggered. Operational alerts include Canary Disconnects/Reconnects, Canary Settings Changed, Console Settings Changed and Flock Setting's Changed.
Step 4:
Add each email address and contact number and then click Save.
