How do I move a Canary between Flocks?

How to move a Canary between Flocks in your Canary Console, updating its assignment without affecting its configuration or alerts.

You can easily move Canaries between different Flocks.

Follow the steps below to move a Canary into a new Flock on your Console:

Step 1: Log in to your Console

Step 2: Select Flock

Select the Flock with the Canary in it that you would like to move to another Flock.

Step 3: Select Canary to Move

Select the Canary that you want to move to another Flock.

We are selecting CT-Office-01 to move to our Cape Town Office Flock.

Step 4: Edit Flock Field

Under the Flock field, click on the pen icon to edit the Flock this Canary will live in.

Step 5: Choose a Flock

1. Select the new Flock from the drop-down list.
2. Click Move Canary.

We have selected Cape Town — Office as the new Flock for this Canary.

Your Canary has now been moved into its new Flock.
