Description: Canary supports outgoing webhooks from a flock to an endpoint of your choice. This event-driven approach means you get your alerts in realtime! We support your favourite apps, such as Slack and Microsoft Teams, as well as support for Generic Webhooks.

You also have the ability to manage alerts from your Slack Channel - see guide here

Follow the steps below to enable and setup webhooks for Slack on your Canary flock:

Step 1:

Log in to your Console.

Step 2:

Select the flock you want to setup webhook notifications on.

Note: we are selecting the "Cape Town - Office" flock.

Step 3:

Click on the Gear icon at the top right of the screen.

Step 4:

1. Select On to enable webhook notifications on this flock.
2. Click on the Add + icon under the webhooks option.

Step 5:

Click Add Slack.

Step 6:

You will be taken to your Slack and you will need to :

1. Select the Team you want the alerts to be pushed to.
2. Select the channel you want the alerts to post to. 
3. Click Allow. 

Step 6:

The Slack channel has now been added to your flock.

You will also receive a message in your Slack channel, confirming the integration is all set and good to go.
