Description: You have the ability to enable notifications for when a user makes any changes to your flock and/or Canary device configurations.
- Device changes - you will be alerted when someone changes something on a device under this flock.
- Flock settings changes - you will be alerted when someone changes something on this flock.
Note: By default, all flocks are set to global notification channels, unless specified under the flock.
Follow the steps below to enable flock and/or Canary device configurations on your Canary flock:
Step 1:
Log in to your Console.
Step 2:
Select the flock you want to setup change control notifications on.
Note: we are selecting the Cape Town - Office flock.
Step 3:
Click on the gear icon (Flock settings) on the top right corner of the flock tab.
Step 4:
Turn on the Device changes and/or Flock settings changes and click Save.
- Device changes - you will be alerted when someone changes something on a device under this flock.
- Flock settings changes - you will be alerted when someone changes something on this flock.
Step 5:
You're done! You will now receive alerts when someone changes something on this flock.
