Virtual Machines that were previously deployed require a few extra steps to obtain their passwords. Sorry! We are fixing this, to make it easier for you to simply know which password belongs to which VM Canary. In the meantime, please follow the steps below to grab your password.

Description: You will require your Virtual Canary passwords to log in and make changes on your virtualised environment, where you deployed your Canary on. This will only be needed when setting up a Canary with a static IP, doing a factory reset, troubleshooting or creating a logo-less Canary.

Note: The Virtual Canary log in username is "canary".

Follow the steps below to locate your Virtual Canary Passwords on your Canary Console:

Step 1:

Log in to your Console. 

Step 2:

1 - Click the + icon.

2 - Click Add Canary.

Step 3:

Select the Virtual Canary your are using:

1. VMWare Canary
2. Hyper-V Canary

Step 4:

Your password will be displayed for the Virtual Canary you selected:

      1. VMWare Canary

      2. Hyper-V Canary
