To make it easy and convenient for you to manage alerts directly from your mailbox, we include a few buttons in alert emails which allow you to take One Time Actions (such as acknowledging or deleting the alert) directly from the email.
Canarytoken alerts
You acknowledge or delete Canarytoken alerts from your Canary Console with a click of a button, and you can also jump directly to the alert in your Canary Console to view it there:
Canary service alerts
You can acknowledge or delete Canary service alerts from your Canary Console with a click of a button, and you can also add the source IP (if known to you and confirmed safe) to your Ignored IPs:
To make sure any Anti-Malware or Safe-link scanners don't accidentally trip over these actions, we do have a confirmation step which requires a second click:
These actions are all logged in in your Canary Console's Audit Logs, and won't go under the radar - the exact date and time, source IP and email recipient that performed the action will be logged for you.
One Time Actions are purely a convenience function, we can remove these from your alerts/emails, let us know at support@canary.tools and we’ll make it happen.
