Quick Overview:
Step 1: Log in to your Console
Step 4: Edit the Windows File Share
Description: Updating the default Windows File Share on the Canary can be done using the remote management found in your Canary Console.
This is a great way to customise the file structure on your Canaries to better match the systems they're mimicking more closely.
Step 1: Log in to your Console
Step 2: Select your Canary
Click on the Canary you want to configure the Windows File Share on.
Step 3: Open configuration
Click on the gear icon (Configure Canary) to configure this Canary.
Step 4: Edit the Windows File Share
Scroll down to the Windows File Share and "Right-click" on the file structure.
- New - add new Folders, Files and Tokens to your Share (you also have the ability to upload real files - see guide here for more information)
- Rename - quickly rename Files / Folders
- Delete - quickly delete unwanted Files / Folders
Step 5: Deploy your changes
Once you've made the changes you will then need to click on Deploy new configuration.
Step 6: Confirm deployment
Your new configuration will be pushed down to your Canary. Once it gets to 100%, the Canary will reboot and connect back to your Console with the new configuration.
You're done!
