Description

This Canarytoken will alert whenever a transaction is made using the credit card.

We recommend placing one anywhere you store payment information. If you ever get an alert from it, you know that the data store has been compromised.

Quota Limits

The Credit Card token is the first token we've released with a creation limit. Unlike the other Canarytokens, we're charged for every credit card we mint.

The licensing model is slightly different from how the Canary licenses work. The Credit Card limit allows you to create N cards. When removing a card you do not reclaim a credit. Credits do not expire but credit cards do. Credits aren't reclaimed when a card expires.

Step 1:

Log in to your Console.

Step 2:

Select the Canarytokens tile.

Step 3:

Select the "Credit Card" token from the list.

Step 4:

Enter a useful reminder to reminder where you placed the token.

Step 5:

Download, copy or print the token and place it in its intended location.

Alert:

An alert is triggered when the credit card is used.
