Description: Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second layer of security to your Consoles authentication process. In order to ensure a higher degree of security, it is recommended that all users turn on this feature.
Canary supports 2FA tools such as Duo or Google Authenticator.
Note : Globally enforce 2FA can be turned on for all users by filing a support request.
Follow the steps below to enable 2FA on your Canary Console.
Login to your Console.
Click on "Setup" to go to the Canary settings page.
Click on "Two Factor Auth" from the menu.
Turn on "Two Factor Authentication" (a QR Code and Key will appear).
Scan the QR Code or use the key to manually add to the Authenticator App.
Type out the verification code displayed on your 2FA app in the "Verify Code" section and click "Enable 2FA"
Your 2FA was successfully setup and all you need to do is logout and log back in.
Logout and on the login page select "I use a second factor".
Now use the code that appears on the Authenticator App and type it in under "Two Factor Authenticator PIN" and login.
