Why do Credit Card Canarytokens expire?
Our credit card Canarytokens are real credit cards, and like real credit cards they expire after a few years.
My Credit Card Canrarytoken has expired. Can I mint another?
Yes, with some caveats. Every Console includes 3 free credit card credits as well as paid credits.
When minting a token, free credits are always consumed before paid credits. A token minted using a free credit returns that free credit on the first day of the token’s expiry month. Tokens minted using paid credits do not return any credits.
Will I receive a reminder that my Credit Card Token will expire?
Yes. Expiry reminder emails are sent to all console admins on the first day of the expiry month. The email contains a list of all credit cards which expires on the 12th of that month.
To disable the reminder email visit the token on the console and click on the Expiration Reminder toggle.
